Beach wedding canvas

I took a repurposed canvas and spray painted it and put on a layer of gesso.

Using crackle paste and sandy colored paint I created an aged sand like texture. Next I stamped with brown ink some script text to add to the background and made a mixture of deco art blue paint, some other paints, glitter paste, 3D gel medium and mica powder to create the water. Next I layered it with paper and embellishments. Around the edges I put a sand like texture paste on through a stencil and little colorful seashells. Finally in the right corner, I put the year on with embossing powder and stamped an image behind it and brushed mica powder on top for a subtle image.

Fall Fever

Even though today was the first snow here in Milwaukee WI, I still feel in the fall spirit with Thanksgiving around the corner.

I'm so glad to have this opportunity to share my passion of art with you all! I'm relatively new to the scrapbooking/card making world, and when I say "world,"  I mean there is literally a WHOLE community of artists, projects and products! Discovering it all has just been an awesome ride so far...

So to bring it to the next level, I decided I'm going social media crazy!;) Meaning I want to integrate my art into all the social media realms I can handle! LOL For starters it seems like any scrapper worth their tittle has a blog so here I am! :) 

I plan to share my latest projects, whether it be cards, canvases, tags or whatever; and who knows how it will develop from there...I'm excited to find out! 

I hope to post my first project real soon...
